So today I got an e-card from Sister Mary Catharine, it was so bee-eautiful!!!!! I was anxious to see what the personalized message would be. It was the greatest thing ever. If you dont mind sister, I'd like to share it with the fellow bloggers:
Dear Amanda! Wow! Thanks! That was a neat-o card!
All Sun I couldnt open it but today I could!
Happy Feast Day! BTW, SJM Read your tribute of St. Dom.
At recreation last night! The Sisters thought it was cool!
You are very precious to us and to our Lord!
I cant wait for the day when we can be united in His Eucharistic love!
Your big Sister,
Sister Mary Catharine
When I read that, I was stunned! I was shocked! I was smiling! I was bouncing off the walls! I was happy! I felt cared and loved for in a million ways and reasons. See this is what the world lacks today, love and caring-ness!
And we also lack faith and the ablility of hope. Hope 0f knowing that WE WILL be saved, its not a matter of "if" or "when", its a matter that hope DOES and WILL save us, why? Because Christ is many things.CHRIST IS HOPE! If we too believe in hope, then perhaps Christ can save us. An act of hope involves love and love involves caring.
I know a sister who got onto the formation period as a Dominican Sister, as a Novice, dawing white and white, and her select name was fantastic: "Sister Maria Caritas." That next day I was inspired by Sister Judith Miryam's Latin in an email she sent me, I already knew Maria meant Mary, so I searched for a few hours and found out that Caritas means Caring. So basically she was: Sister Mary Caring.
