A Holy Woman

Today is a special day for me, it feels like a minor feast day, well...today is the Feast Day of Saint Therese, the Little Flower.

When I look at a rose, a pure red rose, I know I am looking at the Little Flower, Sister Therese was and still is a great Saint. A Saint of love, purity, faithfulness, mercy, and good works to God, of God! Through God! With God!

She was young when she died, 24 years old, but her life was lived Holy, she had a Holy life, but one of the most intriguing things was how much she looked up to her older sister Pauline, who to became a nun and later the Abbess of the Little Flower's convent.

I smile and shout with joy at the sight of a red rose, because I know that Therese is there, its her representation, its a symbol and reminder of her and what she did here on earth.

I am honored and happy that Saint Therese and God in particular have both allowed me to take the name of Therese for my confirmation name, that is why it feels like a minor Feast Day to me today, since it is the Feast Day of Saint Therese the Little Flower, so let us go unto the Lord and celebrate this wonderful feast day, and to praise, pray, and worship God.
