The Code of Honor of the Dominican Knights

For the honor of Almighty God and to the protection of the Blessed Virgin Mary and Mother I, Lady OP solemnly swear until death to be the protector and preacher of all living things- these include, the people of the world, priests, deacons, laity, and protector of the nuns and religious sisters from harm, I promise with my trinity sign to defend God in all things that come falsely – I promise with the weapon I wield I will fight for justice and all good things, I will work in the virtues and help others to be in the virtues of those that I recruit - Under the inspiration of the Gifts of the Holy Spirit and the Holy Spirit itself I promise to preach around the world in the language of sympathy which is understood universally by all the gospel the “good news” and The Way, The Truth and The Life in this I pray and ask for the guidance and protection from my Guardian Angel, the other Angels and all the Saints, I pray – Amen.
