When you go left into my house after you walk off the deck and in the front door you will notice a sign with the Dominican Sisters of Mary Mother of the Eucharist logo that says, Sister Amanda's Vocation Office, and has a few quotes on it. After you open the door you are greeted with an awkward atmosphere thinking that it would be sports or girly - but you are greeted by a heavenly smile from the picture of Our Lady on the wall, you walk into the middle of my room and notice a book shelf with spontaneous Christian things and a bulletin board with medals, scapulars, crosses, rosaries, and pictures, then you look down a little and notice a religious monastic life poster from Our Lady of the Rosary Monastery in Summit, NJ - with pictures of Sister Denise Marie, Sister Mary Catharine, and Sister Judith Miryam, and a few sisters in prayer. You also notice my electric guitar that has no strings on it, you look a little bit to the left and see a Sacred Heart of Jesus picture and below it my prayer corner. You look to the wall where my couch is and notice our Lord is hanging, a cross, the beatitudes and the Gifts of the Holy Spirit, and my patron Saint, Saint Therese the Little Flower.
This is just a gist of what my room is like, and consists of, you'll be surprised what else is in store sometime in the future.
