As we continue our post about what truly being a Dominican is, I have consulted an expert, a Dominican herself who also celebrates her 10 anniversary of Solemn Profession in the Order of Preachers, Sister Mary Catharine - Novice Mistress and Vocation Director of Our Lady of the Rosary Monastery;
To be a Dominican means to be one who is totally captivated by Jesus Christ who is Truth, to be on fire for the Gospel, and to have zeal for the salvation of souls.
The constitutions say that the Dominican Order was founded for preaching and the salvation of souls. That's the nuts and bolts.
Short, but POWERFUL. Thank you Sister Mary Catharine and if I may say so;
