Part II: Stories From The Vanasek

Well...I've spent all this absence time in the posters mind, telling her to come up with another story and everyday she would repeat the story that hasnt been told! I mean for "Campers Sake!" She told it to a Sister who two from her community were at the Camp!- Thank you! eventureman, I'll take it from here. Yes, eventure spoke the truth I've just realized that! And I am also up here realizing I'm making a post. I am here today (some reason when I should be in bed) To tell you past events!-HEY! Thats my job!-*sets him aside*

Past events that will effect you Spirituality and nurture your insides in so many ways, and frankly I had a million tons of fun! *Cloud ignites, back to last Saturday (leaves out car ride)*

So...I got up at 6:40 AM, took a shower and did all those hygienetic tasks, and my brother Brandon picked me up at about 8:45 AM, we left-ate quickly from BK, and hit the road. We arrived at the Little Sisters of the Poor (a wonderful community) in Saint Paul at about 5 to 10 in the morning. The event started at 10, I was told to go into the meeting room and wait for Sister Carolyn who I was dying to see AGAIN! I missed her so much, I waited with the rest of the Hospititality Club members (I was not part of the club). At about 10 after 10 Sister Carolyn finally arrived, a gleaming smile on her face. She welcomed us, greeted us, and finally went around the room: "And you are...thats right." She says, having the new guests announce themselves. "And you...how wonderful, glad you could make it!" And then she got to me, "And I know you!" I smiled and nodded, "Yup." We gathered around the table, and a few moments Sister Clare comes walking in. (She sang me happy b-day when I talked to her), we went around the table introduced ourselves, and then got to work on the event which was a cookout taking place on a roof (with trees, flowers, stations of the cross, benches etc...) in the blazing heat (98 degrees) in the blazing sun and me in my caprees!

So I set up everything did about 80% of the work that was needed to be done, finally everyone of the residents was getting fed and I helped with the carokee machine, and then it was time for the rest of the volunteers to eat. I had a hot-hotdog, pickles, and chips with a Diet Coke, sat with the residents talked, laughed, was really enjoying the time. Later Sister Carlyon wanted a picture and heres how it went: "Here, I want to stand by my favorite girl." She puts her hands on my shoulders, and I grasp her hands, what a moment it was! Later, Sisters Carolyn and Clare brought out the guitars (I told them that I play, which I do) they urged me to play, I refused, everyone wanted me to play, "DENIED" and so I didnt have to play, and I was relevied since I know mostly tabbed songs, and stuff I've made up on my own and about two chord songs from Guitar Lessons. After that we did a few songs, then I helped cleanup did about 80% of that then after work we all set around Sister Clare and we did a trio part, of "Father I Adore You."

"Father I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You! Jesus I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You! Spirit I adore You, lay my life before You, how I love You!"

After that the Sisters told us a story (everything they put in front of St. Joseph's Statue, they get) They needed doughnuts one day for a sisters feast, and didnt have any, so they put a pretzel in front of the statue, BUT PRAYED for doughnuts! The next day a bakery man comes to their door, "Hey, sisters I work at a bakery, and my machines went haywire and made boxes of pretzel shaped doughnuts!"

We all got a kick out of that, and its true too. So then we ended with the Lord's Prayer, and my brother wasnt to pick me up until 2:30 PM and the event ended at 2 PM, so I hung around for an extra half-hour and helped Sister Carolyn with anything, everything at all. So then to make this long story not soo longer, I introduced Sister to my brother, hugged, got into the car went to my bro's place sat for an hour, cleaned until about 7 PM, (I did 90% of the work at his house which would of needed Kim and Aggie from How Clean Is Your House!) Spent the night and left at noon the next morning, Wedensday comes I help my friends with a car wash so they can get money for Mexico, we washed about 11 inside and out, they split it, and my Godmother gave me 20$, then I came home at about 9:30 PM (Was gone the whole day) Then yesturday my cousin washed my moms care in the blazing weather, and I mowed!

A story from the Vanasek will be posted later in the evening!
